  1. Folder Catalogue is a Windows application which enables the printing,
  2. saving to file, or copying to the windows clipboard of the selected
  3. contents of a folder (directory).

  5. Files in a folder may be selected by type (file extension) and by
  6. attribute.
  7.  
  8. A preview of the selected folder contents is displayed in the font
  9. and colour selected for the printer. Column widths for file name, file
  10. size, and time & date may be individually adjusted. Page margins are
  11. adjustable.

  13. Because files may be selected by type and attribute, this is not merely
  14. a listing of the contents of a folder. It is a catalogue of the selected
  15. folder contents.

  17. Catalogues saved to a disk file, or copied to the Clipboard are in comma 
  18. delimited text form suitable for importing into and parsing in a
  19. spreadsheet or database.

  21. It is a particularly useful application where a permanent list of the
  22. contents of archived folders is required.

  24. Folder Catalogue is written for both Windows 3.1 (3.11) (fldcat16.exe
  25. in zipped file fldcat16.zip) and for Windows 95 (fldcat32.exe in zipped
  26. file fldcat32.zip).
